SUPERVISOR OF WASTEWATER CONSTRUCTION - Starts at $31.00 per hour
Jeffersonville is now accepting applications for a Supervisor of Construction with the Wastewater Department. Applicants must havea High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 3 years’ experience as a construction supervisor; foreman or lead. Equivalent combination of education, skills, training and experience may be considered. Must possess or obtain at least a Class B CDL within 6 months.
Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Manager of Collection Systems, this position supervises the City construction crews and oversees all city construction projects and repairs. Job assignments include, but are not limited to; supervising all construction staff in the repair and construction of waste/wastewater lines, meter work, and other projects, ensuring all equipment and materials are available for successful completion of assigned projects and maintaining safe working conditions for all employees and the public.
